I’ve been obsessing with the Rumble coming out this year and now I finally have one of my very own! This revolutionary sex toy has a lot of great features that anyone is sure to love. From it’s highly accessible size and weight to its seven different vibration options, Rumble is a game-changer for those of us who love our wand-style vibrators.
The first thing I noticed when taking the Rumble out of its box was the extremely light weight of the toy. For someone who has been used to the heavy weight of the Hitachi Original Magic Wand and the Doxy Wand, Rumble’s weight was a huge surprise to me. Rumble is also much smaller than most wand massagers, and has an angled head that’s perfect for self-servicing.
Rumble has an amazing comfortable ergonomic grip that’s perfect for masturbation on one’s back. As someone who tends to masturbate hands-free by using a pillow or toy mount, the angle worked great for that, as well. It did take some getting used to as the shape is different than conventional wands, but once I figured out an angle that worked, I had no issues. Tantus prides the Rumble as being an accessible vibrator for all genders and body types.
The speed controls are also easy to use, as they’re just where your thumb rests while holding it. The power button, on the other hand, is a bit below that to avoid accidentally switching off the vibrator–an issue that many Hitachi users complain of.
Also unlike most wands, Rumble has seven speeds/patterns:
Low- Medium
- High
- Staccato Pulse
- Pulse
- Gradual acceleration
- Cycles through all styles
Since I’m used to the super strong vibrations of the Doxy Wand, I use the Rumble on high. Rumble was not designed to give Earth-shattering vibrations, but as a mid-level vibrator that most users are comfortable with. Being a self-identified “power queen,” I was itching for a bit more power than Rumble gave me at first, though most users will be satisfied with the strength of one of the three speeds. However, what Rumble may fall short with in comparison with the super intense Doxy Wand, it makes up in other amazing features.
Like I mentioned with the weight, it’s pretty damn accessible for most people to use. The feather-weight design is great for people with arthritis or other joint/mobility issues, as well as those of us who like long sessions with their sex toys. Holding up a large wand gets very tiring and your hand starts to hurt after a while. Rumble is an amazing solution for these types of issues.

Rumble is also cordless and rechargeable, so you’re not confined to the reach of an outlet. It comes with a USB charger that powers up Rumble’s battery for 4.5 hours of vibration. (It even came fully charged out of the box, which is really important when you’ve been waiting to try this beautiful creation for almost a year!)
AND THE BEST PART?
Rumble’s vibrating head has a silicone cap that comes off completely. This means not only is it 100% body-safe silicone, but you can also sterilize it in a snap! Simply wash with warm water and antibacterial soap, or for a deep clean you can soak in a 5-10% bleach solution, put in the top rack of your dishwasher, or boil for five minutes. It is so incredibly easy and convenient. I have never seen a toy with a motor that is this simple to keep clean in my life.
Rumble is also splashproof, so squirters need not worry! (The motor isn’t submersible, though, so just clean the handle with a damp towel.)
